Tiger Safari, Zoobic Safari

Still at Zoobic Safari in Subic, the Tiger Safari would bring you a much closer encounter with the tigers.

Compare with my experience with the crocs (click here to see Croco Loco), this one kept me in a high note shouting. Talking about the thrills of a face off with these wild huge cats. Omg!

Carted by a safari pinoy jeepney, only thin wired caged window of the vehicle protected us from the fangs of these creatures.

The roof of the jeepney was partially glassed so that a climb action of the tiger could be seen by the passengers inside.

There was a small window that could be opened to feed the hungry tigers.

Chicken here was more expensive than in the Croco Loco. It was around P100-150 per piece. I guess because the cuts were larger.

And then... the hunting  begun..!!!!!

Croco Loco, Zoobic Safari

Here in Luzon , only Zoobic Safari (Subic) gives you an experience of close encounter with the animals_ the wild/beast ones, not the pet kinds like in other zoo.

At Croco Loco of Zoobic, you get to see them up close.

This close..

There are hundreds of them beneath my foot.

As if, ready to attack..if teased.

Guests can feed these crocs for P50 a chicken. The chicken part is tied to a bamboo stick which the feeder could lower it down to reach the crocs under the bridge.

The hungry reptiles then smell the aroma of the meat and crawl to share the feast. It's one thing to see these crocs eating meat on movies, but it's something else to see them live in action_scary:(

Cebu's Sky Experience Adventure

The Sky Experience Adventure at the 37th and 38th floors of Crown Regency Hotel in Cebu is relatively new in the Philippines. It has opened late last year to early this year. The SEA has two adventure choices for you to dare_ the sky walk and the edge coaster ride. Or you could enjoy both!

I've seen this type of adventure trip in our neighboring Asian countries, so it's a happy note that we now have our own peak to go when we are in a more daring mood. An added spice to the beachy Cebu.

My daring cousin Rare took a lead of a group skywalk.

The view down below is breathtaking.

The sights would even take you as far as Bohol islands.

Embarcadero de Legazpi

Embarcadero de Legazpi is a major waterfront development in Legazpi , a tourist destination that is set to open in full blast on October this year.

It has a very touristy location_ at the site fronts of the main harbour of Legazpi,

with her majesty_ the Mayon Volcano on sight,

at the very foot of Kapuntukan Hill or the Sleeping Lion hill.

Embarcadero is comprised of retail, restaurants, markets, a major civic space and landmark lighthouse, with a future waterfront hotel and spa, and an Information Technology (IT) Park with an estimated 8,000-seat Call Center. Embarcadero will “activate” the waterfront creating an attractive and vibrant focus for the city’s leisure and lifestyle activities with selected business areas operational 24/7..
Embarcadero will function as a waterfront promenade, with theatrical lighting and performance spaces creating a lively, family friendly environment during the day and at night.

When we visited the site two weeks ago, constructions were still going on. It soft opened last July and has few restaurants already on business.

At the moment, in broad daylight, the neighborhood seems to be sleeping yet with the adjacent Sleeping Lion Hill. Humble by the trycycles, locals walking in foot, the neighborhood looks decieving off the billion vast project that is Embarcadero.

I'm personally excited about this place. As I'm planned to bring my kids on summer in Legazpi, Embarcadero would be an added spice to the natural sights and wonders of the province for my girls' coming visit. By then (April 2010), this destination would be already in full swing as it is scheduled for grand opening this October of this year.
