Littered Beach

Not all beaches are created equally for swimming and sun worshiping. . True story.

One faithful weekend in Nasugbu Batangas, during  our crazy beach hopping, we landed on this dark mocha almost black beach. . .

From this angle, the beach looks normal even smooth. I wouldn't mind the color, I'm not at all racist anyway,.. if only. .

. .the beach was atleast. .

unlittered with plastics, plastics, plastics!!!! omg!!! What's happening in this side of Batangas. Don't they care at all to our mother nature. All right, beach goers here must be so unattached  and thought this beach as a garbage zone. Curse them if you must. But how about the local authorities here?? Any concern?? Or atleast those resort owners nestling fronting this beach. . Beach resorts in this area are not high-end alright, but I don't think a garbage-full beach is alright to any type of resorts.
Is the "tapat ko, linis ko" campaign not working here, obviously.
.sob:(

Walking few feet ahead, there was a net fishing scene. .

. . and horses walking by. .

Assumed elements that this beach is not made for swimming. Away from my eyes husband and kids joined the rest of the group who drunkenly swam over the black sea. The moment they touched the water, their legs were bitten by some angry-sea-creatures.

Everyone jumped out of the sea.

Nonetheless, I was able to steal a dramatic sunkissed photo scenes in a little corner off the littered beach.
If you you want to enjoy Nasugbu beaches, make sure to drive furthermore to here and here, those two would be your starting point to better beaches in this province.

Munting Buhangin

The beach is  Munting Buhangin in Nasugbu, Batangas.

I heard of it from friends but I'd never been there until I came back to Terrazas de Punta Fuego and found out that Munting Buhangin is just right beside it.

Although there was a partition rope between these  neighboring beach resorts, I hadn't seen so much difference on the quality of water and sand  the two have. However, it's already given that  the difference in image and facilities of  each has from one another is million pesos apart. Needless to say, the Terrazas is a lot higher-end than Munting Buhangin.

It's just fair to say that if you are under small pouch budget but want to enjoy the same calibre of  Terrazas' beach front and water, Munting Buhangin is the next "beach" thing.

There are nipa hut and tent  cavanas for day use and I gather_ there are rooms for night staying guests available inside that fenced resort. I wasn't able to see the actual rooms thu'.
Are you keen about the scripts on the boat? jump here.

One thing is sure thu' _ the sun scene is always beautiful in this side of  Batangas.

"thy sea is so great and my boat is so small"

For me, a day in the beach is incomplete without a little boat ride.

Look how tiny our boat was. The size of the boat was relative to our small budget, haha. We didn't bother to avail more decent boat cos this one was enough for us. We were only three passengers and it was already nearing to sunset which meant we could only stay in the sea not beyond 2 hours . Also, it meant a nearby destinations only.

We were by the way at Nasugbu, Batangas. I didn't have much expectations on the sea sights., but a boat ride is a past time I always enjoy and didn't mind the absence of sceneries in this side of Luzon.

I guess it is that I was in when one lowers his expectations, that's when he sees great in small things attitude that made me actually enjoyed this little boat ride.

I thought this trivial rock formation, was nice and well, added texture to the plain Nasugbu shores.

Remember that we only floated around near and didn't have time to go farther which I supposed got more scenic islands.

Already it was surprising that nonetheless we were able to score some interesting photos of random structures by the sea.

We made a short stop-over in a shore with better beach and water.

Swam a little. .

. . did some fruit snacking. .

. .and off to the sea again.

private resort

. . another private resort. This one is Canyon Cove.

and a beautiful photo taken by older daughter who stayed mostly behind the lens during this trip.
Not bad at all.

Terrazas

In the province of Batangas, best beach coves can be found in Nasugbu which mostly are serving Club Punta Fuego's resort properties.. One of these is the Terrazas de Punta Fuego which facilities are exclusively enjoyed by the members and their guests.

Only my second time here, ( I'm no member, hello_ P. Fuego's residential resorts are enclave for the rich. I don't think I would be one rich member in this lifetime:)). The first time was courtesy of a previous all expense paid company outing That was years ago.

It has a wading pool to the delights of the kids and the kids at heart.

Also in this part of Terrazas is an infinity pool afloat the beach. Still in exact condition as it was on my first visit couple of years ago. I mean, it seemed not to run old nor looked newly renovated. I'd say, it is fairly maintained.
I heard Terrazas has another infinity pool at the upper part and that I've never been to. My visits were only limited to the beach amenities/facilities on a day tour by which I already felt privileged.

The coffee brown cabanas protruding by the beach offer relaxation facing the ocean.

Best part is the beach!!! It claims to be the best swimming beach in Nasugbu.

The sand and water are fine and pristine.

During my first visit, I thought the whole beach cove was solely owned by Terrazas. I didn't have the time then to roam around the beach.

This time, I realized the beach is being shared by other resorts in the cove. Nevertheless, it's good that it's not crowded like the other beaches in this town.

Best-est of the day was the glorious sunny and white cloudy sky. June is actually an off beach season cos it is meant to be a rainy/typhoony month. It was the first weekend of June 2011 and it was a perfect beach day.

A Little Extension Of Summer

Weather is so confusing ( who says it is not anyway?:). The week before last week was all raining cats and dogs. So I took it as a sign of early rainy season. Then entered the official month of wet season_ June and here is a comeback of the scorching summer heat!! Ofcourse, I'm not talking nationwide. Atleast to my side of the city.

Well, I guess it's just fair for me to make my own comeback too. . . to the b-e-a-ch I mean. My favorite place on earth!. So I jumped with my bff to one of the nearby provinces with  decent beaches, and I swear_ it's hard to beat a day with  generous supply of sunlight and ample amount of laughters with a best friend in a beach.
Happiness.
